Hello ladies and gents. I've been wet shaving about six months now and I love it! I have a few brushes, found a good DE and am restoring a few straights, picked up some of the more renowned soaps and creams, and am just generally loving my shaves! After ask this time, however, I still have one issue. The area under my bottom lip and around the corners of my mouth (the "handlebar" of the 'stache if I was trying to grow one) still gives me a lot of trouble!
On the underside of the lip, it's difficult for me to maneuver under the lip and above my chin beard. Multiple passes leave me raw, even with practically no pressure, since I have sensitive skin. The area around my lips on either side just DOES NOT want to be shaved! It's rough unless I make 3-5 passes (including touch ups), which then makes me red and irritated.
Has anyone else had this issue? What pointers or tips do you all have?
