Ranking Creed Fragrances (from best to worst)

1. Green Irish Tweed

A great everyday fragrance. Best for spring summer and fall, but great in winter too. Amazing sandalwood note, fresh lime verbena, calming iris note, and a confident violet. It's a fresh young fragrance, but also has a darker side to it. One of a mature but not old man. Great for men of all ages. Mature and sophisticated but youthful. It's beautiful through and through.

2. Aventus

Creed's best when it comes to projection and longevity. After smelling it for a while, you may get sick of it, but it's easily Creed's most alluring hypnotizing fragrance. Great for any season, but not for everyday use. This is lust and passion in a bottle. If GIT is your best friend, this fragrance is your lover.

3. Erolfa

My most complimented Creed fragrance. I love the salty marine ocean vibe with a strong but restrained blast of citrus like tangerine. The ambergris and light woody/floral background are assertive yet peaceful. Performance may suck, but hey it's a great fragrance.

4. Jardin d' Amalfi

A heavenly fresh smell. Neroli, fresh fruit, light cinnamon. Perhaps the highest quality fragrance I ever discovered. It's a bit feminine, but I don't care. The price tag is killer though. I'll afford it someday...

5. Millesime Imperial

I love the bright crisp marine citrus backed by the light-musked florals, sweet cedarwood and spices. Can sometimes get too spicy but all in all, it's an addicting smell.

6. Virgin Island Water

I love this fragrance. Coconut spices, lime and sugar. Some may think its feminine but many will love it. At risk of being cliche, I'll say it's great for the summer time.

7. Original Vetiver

Like Mugler Cologne but twice as good. Natural, fresh. The vetiver note is real rich and sweet. A dirty kind of clean. In terms of projection and longevity, it's one of Creed's best.

8. Silver Mountain Water

Sometimes amazing. Sometimes mediocre. It's performance and which notes are prevalent vary on the day. Sometimes its crisp, glacial, watery, peppery, fruity like a powdery lemon tart. It has a nice metallic tinge to it. Other times it smells like musk and body odor.

9. Spice and Wood

Creed throws away its rulebook with this one. It's quite a powerhouse and not really a citrus fragrance. It's name describes it personally. This is definitely a man's fragrance, but not old-man-ish. Super expensive though.

10. Royal Oud

First few wearings I didn't like it. But it grew on me and I crave it. Apart from oud are plant roots and cedarwood. It smells like an old church. Women around me didn't like it. But it smells really good nonetheless, at least to me.

11. Himalaya

Reminds me of a Chanel fragrance done Creed-style. Icy citrus with a peppery background of sandalwood and cedarwood. Even if it's not creative or super-original, it smells really good. But it's peformance is really weak for a woods-based fragrance.

12. Original Santal

It's a very good fragrance but not for everyone. Opening is a strong lavendar coriander sweet medicinal smell. Dries down into cinammon/sandalwood/vanilla. Not remarkable as a gourmand but overall a nice fragrance for those who want it. Compliment factor was mixed for me.

13. Royal Water

Like Bond no 9's Brooklyn but higher quality. While it's not super unique or exceptional, it seems to take many different elements (citrus, sweetness, herbal, light woods, coriander) and arrange it together beautifully.

14. Selection Verte

A minty fresh mentholy blast of citrus. A really pleasant smell. High quality. But it's something I would rather have a room or a place smell like. Not so much myself. So basically I love smelling it. Don't know if I'd wear it.

15. Sublime Vanille

Very minimalist, but maybe too simple for it's own good. Think Midnight of Paris, a much higher quality version of it, but just the vanilla and citrus.

16. Bois Du Portugal

A good green woody lavendar fragrance. Probably better for the older crowd. It's an 80's gem. But I could still wear it if I wanted to. Opening reminds me of M7 a little bit.

17. Bois de Cedrat

A nice fresh fragrance, no more and no less.

18. Tabarome

Not horrible but mediocre. Ginger is overpowering. Tobacco note (the main note) is mundane and ordinary. Drydown is similar to Himalaya, and Himalaya is better. So, I avoid this one.
