Hey Gents. Thought I would check in here and introduce myself. I've been using carts for about 20 years now and I'm fixing to dive into the world of DE shaving. I'm a head shaver and I some how stumbled across DE razors while I was in search of something that could replace the Mach 3. I can't stand spending 15-20 bucks everytime I need a new razor. After some research and lurking here for a couple weeks I made a couple of purchases. Here's what I'm starting with:
DE89lbl safety razor
Derby DE blades
Personna Red blades
Wilkinson Sword blades
Semogue 1800
Pre de Province soap
Everything should be arriving by this Tuesday. I don't have any aftershave yet, and I'm really not sure which blades to start with. Hopefully this should be a good start. I'm looking forward to my first real shave.
