I just recently scored what I thought was a correct ABC Pocket Edition set. The sellers photos were not that great, but seemed to confirm the set was indeed correct. The description was also short but indicative the set was correct. It even contained the serial number in the written description. So I bought the set at a low BIN price, and awaited my item to come in the mail. The first red flag should have been the low price. And the second warning sign should have been the shoddy photos, but I was excited at obtaining a bargain ABC set. The item arrived today, and although something about it nagged at me I posted it in the acquisition thread. But the feeling something was amiss persisted. So I got out several of my other ABC sets and examined everything, only to discover my new ABC set probably has a mismatched Old Type model 102 cap and guard on it. So , the moral of this story is-if it looks too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true. Buyer Beware.
