I have been using a Gillette Slim recently and working my way up from setting "1" to setting "3". For a change, I decided to use my RR Mission razor this morning with a new Feather blade. Nice enjoyable three pass shave then when I was cleaning up, I discovered that my face felt like I hadn't shaved at all. I lathered up again and tried again varying the angle some more to find the most sound of cutting. Still not a good shave :sad: I lathered up one last time and grabbed my Slim. Some more passes and now a close shave, (with a bit of razor burn from so many passes).
I don't understand why I had an issue with the Mission. It has worked fine before. It is not as aggressive as the Slim on 3 or my 34C but feels good and, until today, has given good shaves.
