Gents, I recently purchased MS Office Pro 2013 and MS Profect 2013. I had MS Office Pro 2007 and MS Project 2003. I thought it was time to upgradge. After installing 2013 I keep getting error messages whenever I open Word or Excel. The window opens and loads. When I select new document or try to open an existing document or workbook, I get an error message. I have done the following:
To be honest I have spent a few hours trying to fix this mess. I don't want to spend half the night reading the MS knowledgeless base. Too much wasted time. If all else fails, I will call MS support tomorrow.
Any ideas?
- Ran the fix option in the control panel
- Uninstalled previous MS software
- Ran the fixit program on the MS website
- Cleaned the registry with crap cleaner program
- Reinstalled the software
