Shedding Simpsom Chubby

Hi Guys, a few months ago I bought a Simpson #3 Chubby, these things aren't cheap either, right at $325. It took a couple of weeks shaving every day to get it broke in good too. I loved it. after a couple of months it started losing hair, one maybe 2 a day, now it sheds out I know 8 or 10 every day. I have to pick them off my face before I shave and when I rinse it out hairs come out right and left, and YES, it is getting thinner. Have any of ya'll had this problem or am I the Blessed One. From the way everyone brags on Simpson brushes, I figured I was getting the best on the market. Let me know please.
