Hello all, just checking in. Got to confess though, I've been using B&B for a few weeks for information. I bought my first DE razor about 2 weeks ago. I've been using expensive disposables or Mach or Fusions for years. My new and current setup is on the low end of the DE price range.
Razor: Feather Popular
Blades: Feather Hi-Steel (yeah! I was ballsy)
Soap: Van Der Hagen Premium
Brush: Van Der Hagen Pure Boar (I also purchased the Pure Badger by VDH)
i have now been shaving with my DE for a few weeks as I said before. However, until today I was close to giving it up because I was getting such bad razor burn and so many nick and cuts. After sitting out a few days from shaving and reading post after post on the site I think I might have finally figured out how to shave with my DE and not jack up my face. And I LOVE IT!!! My face has never been smoother! Tonight was my best and closest shave yet. I will never go back to disposables or cartridges!
