I made a quick image gallery to show the dimensions of my R89 head, with and without the Muhle blade guard, to someone. Despite the fact the razor head isn't clean, I figured I'd share this on B&B in case someone was thinking about picking one up.

I like this better than the leather options, because it is sturdy. When not on the razor head, it doesn't flex at all. And I have found that you can slide it on partway, then unscrew the handle, and as a result can transport the razor in two pieces, with a blade inserted. That's how I plan on using it, to avoid potentially snapping the post. Not a bad add-on to an order if you're already paying postage, like I was.
