Hydro magic lever?

I know that the schick type I hydromagic is a very popular injector, but I was wondering, does the lever make that much of a difference? Whenever I see people talking about how great it is, it is almost always the I-2 with the lever, not the normal type, but the only difference is that the hydromagic is easier to clean, correct, no difference in the shave? And I guess by the same notion, the type J's with the hydromagic lever are the same way, or no? And lastly, the J and I are the same exact razor head (give the same exact shave), but just have different handles for different levels of preferred comfort right?
