Hi Everyone,
I've lurked here a couple of times, but finally decided I am going to do this after my last razor rusted after one use.
I have looked over the information, but finding what I need again is taking time I don't have right now. So I'm sorry I know this information is somewhere.
A little about me. I am a lady. I'm mostly looking for something for shaving my underarms. Right now I use an epilator on my legs, but I might switch to shaving my legs to if it does in fact help with horribly ichy super dry sensitive skin. I do live in a very humid environment so rust is an issue which is one reason I'm wanting to do this I won't feel bad throwing away a blade after one use. Oh and I'm legally blind without my glasses so I shave by feel unless I'm feeling flexible enough to move whatever I'm shaving within 3 inches of my face. :biggrin1:
I know I should get a blade sample pack. And I am considering the Parker 29L, but I really care what I get because I haven't used any DE razors. Do you think there is a better choice for starting out. For brushes I remember reading synthetic might be better for humidity? Then I need shave, soap or creme. Basically I just need something good quality, but not crazy expensive to get me started for a month or so then when I have time again I can experiment if I want.
I'm sorry normally I would just do a ton of my own research, but I'm in the middle of my qualifying exams, I have no time, and would rather not go buy more disposable razors.
Thanks!
