I don't know what the tolerances were on the GEM MMOCs. Either the tolerances were very, very wide or a bunch of people are using the MMOC incorrectly.
I picked up my MMOC about 6 or 7 weeks ago at an antique store. I had heard the horror stories. I was amazed after the first shave at how mild/gentle it seemed. I thought perhaps it was everyday use that would show me the beast. So I used it 7 consecutive days, with the same blade. Nope. Not rough at all. Perfect game through 7...
