In a lot of, "shave of the day" IG posts and Youtube videos, I see wetshavers starting off with an aftershave splash and then finishing it off with a balm.
The logic they seem to use is that you want the splash as an astringent and then the balm to restore the moisture to your skin and sooth any razor burn.
Im not sure if this is legit or its overkill. Thoughts?
