For the past year I have been shaving with a DE and for most of it I have been using like 3 blades. One of which I feel like I can put into any razor and get a great shaving experience with (GSB.) The other 2 I get good results with but in the wrong razor I get a little face burn afterwards (Astra SP and Wilkinson sword I get at the store by my house.)
