Today I purchased a very scarce 1924 Pioneer Olympic Set. Scarcer still is the fact that the set I purchased was a special order variation....with an enscribed case that was made by the Gillette factory for the French magazine “L’Auto" (published from 1900-1944). The magazine presented these razor sets as special gifts to their management and famous auto racers of the day.
Being a lover of antique automobiles, as well as Gillettes, I can only but imagine who the auto racer may have been...
