Up until now my only experience with badger is in the form of Pure badger....mainly cheaper ones. The best badger brush I've used - and it is a good performer - is my Vulfix 2006.
Lately I've tried making my own brushes from stuff I get around the Bay, but the pure badger knot I got from Mimi's Happy Time was a waste of money. The Best Badger knot I bought at the same time was a different story.
