I've been considering creating a new use for some of my seldom used synths. I'm thinking of cutting a couple to 1" or so wide and keeping the full length so I can have a few narrow hones for blades with geometry issues. I've used the side of a few hones for this but I'd kind of like to have a few hones cut specifically for this so i would have a full progression of narrow hones. Has anyone done anything like this or will I be the first in this attempt? Thanks
