Just shaved with a new Ladas blade this A.M. My impression is that they are smooth & forgiving but, not really sharp at beard removal. I did get a DFS using Captains Choice Lime shave soap. These blades would be a great choice for a beginner or someone without a heavy beard. I have a medium beard type & this blade did the job for me.
