I recommend a Schick Injector Adjustable M-2, made in 1965-1972. With its adjustment wide open, or thereabouts, it might compare with the aggressiveness of the Type E's.
I find the Schick Adjustable to be a marvelous shaver, close and comfortable, with a good feel and balance and a comfortable handle. It's also a excellent travel razor, light weight, with an innovative "protector" feature, whereby moving a tab on the underside of the handle near the head will retract the blade so that it cannot cut something in a suitcase.
The adjustments are 1 to 8. I have a fairly coarse beard and I shave on a setting of 6.
