Today was the first time diving back into a P&B tub in about 4 weeks. I found it a good soap but not a standout when I first tried it. Well today I used my newly acquired Paladin and all I can say I wow. The brush allowed me to whip up a lather that I wasn't able to get previously and today was one of the best shaves of my life. Tons of extremely dense and slick lather that my old 3 band knots couldn't deliver. I guess a little more density and backbone to a degree can really help whip up a nicer lather. I haven't put that Paladin down since it arrived either. Very soft tips and zero irritation with a nice density and good flow through. Post shave with the P&B is really nice. A little less "heavy" than Mikes but in a good way.
