I'm not an indoor smoker; I'm an occasional smoker these days and pretty much leave it for warmer weather. My wife also possesses an olfactory ability that borders on a super-power so it's just not in the cards for me to light up inside. My first thought is that smoking in a small enclosed space may not infuse the house with an odor, but YOU will smell like you just escaped from a burning building. Be prepared to strip off, launder your clothes immediately and jump in the shower after every pipefull. You'll have to rig up some kind of exhaust system, like maybe a window fan, to pull the smoke out of the house as you puff away in order to make the smoking lounge idea work.
