Well, last night I had what I feel may have been my greatest shave to date....on the 15th use of a Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless (Green Russians)
The soap was Stirling Frozen Tundra (need to use up this sample and I am really digging menthol) and the razor was the Rockwell 6S on R4.
The previous 14 shaves were all on R3. I thought that that was my preferred setting, and shoot, with 14 great shaves with one blade, who would argue, hehe. Well, I thought what the heck, let me try the R4 plate. I have not used this plate before, so was actually my 1st time.
What a great shave! Very, very little AS sting on my lower neck area, my sensitive spot, where I almost always get a slight tingle.
This may be the closes to BBS I have ever gotten WITHOUT crazy AS burn.
Oh, for the AS, I kept with the menthol theme and used Proraso Green.
From last nights shave, I may have another 15 shaves on this blade
