a permit for selling more than 500 rounds of ammo in a month?? I'm not a gun owner... but don't bullets come in boxes of like 50-100? AT LEAST 25? Let's say it's 25, and let's say 2 people a day buy a box of ammo, just for the sake of argument. so 50 rounds a day... After just a week and a half, you'd already need that permit. Now how often do people only buy that few rounds at a time anyway? What do they think this is, fallout?
"Yeah, I'll take those 7 bullets... You know, the ONLY ones you have. Here are your bottle caps."
I can understand maybe restricting certain things, but this is getting ridiculous. And if you wanted to commit a crime using a gun, guess what? You've already decided to disobey the law, do they really think some murderer's sitting there going "well, I guess I can't shoot up the mall like I was planning, now that my STANDARD(not high capacity... screw you, media) 30/20 round magazine is illegal?" If you've decided to harm someone, does it really matter what you used? This idea that removing a weapon that's "easy" to use will stop people from hurting each other is ridiculous. We did just fine killing each other before we even had gun powder.
