Before I get killed, I wish to share my SECRET for making it one of my very top shaving soaps:
Don't soak or bloom (I think that's what they call it lately). Just wet your brush as usual and GSMOW (Gently Squeeze out Most Of Water) - any brush at all. Load a little more than most soaps and lather up a bit - then take to face or bowl, adding water as needed. That's it, honestly. No need to stand on your head while holding it behind your back or any of that other stuff. The secret is the squeezed out brush. A brush that is too wet will quickly render very weak lather which will magically disappear. The same applies to another one of my favorites, Mitchell's Wool Fat.
