Where to purchase leater/linen for home paddle strop

Good day,

I am wondering where one could purchase leather and linen to make a paddle strop. I work at a commercial door and frame shop and we have a lot of 1 3/4" pieces of wood that get thrown out to create windows. I was looking at that and that would be perfect strop because they are super flat and it is free. Just need an adhesive and the linen and leather to create the strop.

Any ideas.
