I bought a lot of "project razors" to fix up. In there is an old Joseph Rogers with ivory scales. The blade is pretty much shot as a razor (it's a full wedge, so I might be able to make it a utility blade of some sort... maybe a cigar cutter?), but I think I can still salvage the ivory scales, despite the crack.
Looking for options on the safest way to unpin it.
At this point I am thinking I will use my Dremel drill press tool to try and drill away the pin head, then carefully try to tap it out.
Also, any tips for peening a blade into scales with ivory and no washers? I've never tried that.
