Merkur Futur Disinfecting Instructions

Hey all! I had an unfortunate accident where my house cleaner cut her finger on my Merkur Futur (she's fine btw).

BUT... now I would like to disinfect my blade. I've never done this before (I'm a very careful shaver ^_^;), so I'd like to know if there is a process for this.

Can I just take bleach to my blade, or will that mar the fancy matte finish? Any other considerations I need to taking care of my Futur? A cursory search of B&B along with a wider Google search turned up nothing, so I'm really hoping y'all can help me out!
