I can never get a 4/8's straight as sharp as my other blades and/or I can not get a good shave with them. I have several vintage Spikes (Oneida Cutlery) and even a couple of other brands (vintage).
All my other blades I can hone very sharp so that the hair just pops off. I don't seem to be able to do that with any of my 4/8's. Maybe my 4/8's are just cheaply made or whatever.
I just wondered if anyone else has issues with them.
Are 4/8's harder to hone or shave with?
