I do a bit of overseas travel (lead groups as well) and my standard recommendation is to print a copy of their policy and highlight the portion which addresses safety razors and/or blades. As a backup, you can also email their customer service and then print the response.
I have yet to have a problem with this method, however, I have not taken a Caribbean cruise. But, the above mentioned protocol should still suffice.
