I've fallen deep in the SE rabbit hole but moments ago folded like a cheap lawn chair and broke out my ball end Old Type and loaded it with a brand new Gillette 7 o'clock Super Stainless, lathered up some Razorock XXX (to which I add a few drops of glycerin) with my Razorock synthetic barber pole brush and proceeded to have a spectacular shave. Followed up with a cold water rinse and splash of Aquavelva blue.
My face feels like it's never had stubble on it before. Smooth, clean, glass smooth. Keep this bad boy shallow and it rewards you with clean, flawless results.
Maybe there's something to these newfangled double edge shaving contraptions after all! :)
