I bought a Belgium coticule and I'm a little excited about it. I plan to use it before my Shapton 16k and give it a go and then rehone and use it after the Shapton 16k to see how the razor feels on my face.
So here's the deal the Shapton's cut pretty quick as you hone experts already know and honestly I'm not ready to be done honing. The coticule will allow me to get my honing fix without wearing down my razors. I mentally understand the "less is more" on a Shapton but my mind tells me "keep honing you're enjoying it". Looking forward to getting my rock in a box.
