First Gillette flair-tip I buy is a B3 -- third quarter '56 if I read the tables correctly, and I was born in '56 (in Feb though). Hope this is a good sign.
Also got an L1 flair-tip and an adjustable I cannot find a date code on yet, haven't gotten the magnifier out yet.
The L1 will to go my brother who is quite fed up with disposable and cartridge razors -- fairly dense and VERY wiry beard, has to shave twice a day if he wants to stay presentable. I'm hoping a safety will help there by giving him a decent shave to start with.
Have a sampler of blades on the way, and 100 Astra SPs here, will be trying my new razor tomorrow morning -- or Sunday, don't usually shave on Sat.
