I have a low end Felton badger, an Omega 48 Pro boar, and recently purchased two Razorock Plissoft brushes, one for my wife and one that was going to be my daughter's brush. I liked it so much much I am going to give her the choice between the badger and the board brushes (I think the boar would be better for leg shaving, but what do I know?). The Plissoft is super soft and well made. Plus, it is the cheapest of the three and dries very quickly. It has made me a believer in the synthetics. I would guess that a high end badger brush would be fantastic, but I simply won't pay for one, and probably wouldn't fully appreciate it.
Good synthetic brush options?
