It's personal preference, and it depends on what type of handles you prefer. Plenty of people like the Piccolo because of the solid handle (as opposed to the Grande's hollow handle), and I thought I would feel the same way, but the handle is too small and thin for me to enjoy it. I vastly prefer the Grande because it's fatter, slightly longer, and it feels less slippery to me. Granted, if you have lather on your fingers, both handles are going to slip out of your fingers. YMMV. If you happen to get a Grande, I recommend you don't get a gunmetal one, since the coating wears off pretty quickly.
