I just received a new Simpson CH1 and it has been a long time since I have used a new brush. I remember (at least I thought I remembered) people posting about breaking in a new brush.
* * Does this mean just using it for the first time or does it mean more?
For example, will the brush begin to bloom or perhaps the tips will soften in time?

My first and only shave was tonight after I put down a family pet so I wasn't really into it.
I normally use a Classic 2 with MWF.
Tonight I used the new brush with new soap, DR Harris Windsor. The brush was good and the cream was nice as well. I love the scent. It was only the third brand of soap (aside from musgo real cream for travel) that I have used in 3 years.
The experience was good but not as good as my typical regiment.
* * Anyone think my shaves will improve with the new shaving tools?
