From the relative rarity of the Ever Ready 1914,compared to the 1912, I'm guessing that it didn't have a very long production run, or it wasn't produced in large numbers. This puzzles me, as in my experience, the 1914 is a superior razor, being both smoother in use than any 1912 I have used & also shaving closer.
I can see why the 1924 perhaps didn't generate much interest, as it represents a big change in design compared to the 1912, but the 1914 is basically a refined version of the 1912 & they are very similar in looks.
Why didn't the Ever Ready 1914 replace the 1912?
