Question about alum irritation and PAA

Hi folks,

There was a thread around a little while ago about alum causing skin irritation. I have stopped using it for that reason and I'm wondering if that might be why I find my bottle of PAA Deja Fougere to be a very average aftershave.

What do you think? Is there enough alum in PAA splashes to spoil them for me if alum irritates my skin?
