Hello everyone, I just switched over to using a safety razor today and completed my first shave alot better than I imagined, thought I would end up with blood blotches and knicks everywhere, especially since I thought I had sensitive skin from past experiences with razor burn from those 50 blades in one cartridge razors, but nope nothing bad except for 3 long vertical cuts near my neck artery which when I noticed made me stop to make sure I wasn't going to start gushing blood at any second. Granted in the mirror they looked worse but it seems to have been only slightly skin deep cause no bleeding but still caused a bit of alarm at first given its proximity to a vital supplier of blood and the cuts going down the road, now my question is I've seen those blood blotches and tiny knicks from shaving, and searching it was hard to come up with any mention of these types of cuts or long slashes I was wondering how common is getting a cut like that and is there something I was doing wrong maybe angling the razor too deep and got, I'm guessing, the corner of the razor or something dragging into my skin as i shaved down? Any insight or advice since I would like not to accidentally slice thru a major vein like that after a too enthusiastic shave
New here, had a few cuts questions
