This razor is too big to be just a Duck. Its size makes it more like a Goose! It had the usual missing gold and rust over the shaft. But what was unfortunately too badly damaged to save was the wash on the blade. Cleaning up everything else and replating the rest would have only made this look worse . So I did a brushed /polished finish on the blade in typical DD style.
The scales came out just fine but an interesting thing is on both sides there were the start of a second set of holes. I ended up using full size #O washers to try and disguise them a bit .
