Agreed, you cannot make a snap judgement on blades just because of one. There will always be a bad blade for however many good ones there are, that's just the price of mass production. Good call, buddy! Also, If you're in the market for trying to choose a blade, I would suggest you go to a web page and get a sampler pack, that way you can experience a good bit of the spectrum from mild to aggressive. If I were to make a suggestion, I would say try Gilette 7 o'clocks green. People seem to really like those. I have not personally tried them myself. But plan on it.
Always get two blades!
