I finally got a Schick Repeating Razor Type C2

i have not gotten all of the spots off, but whatever it is comes of a bit, and leaves a reddish stain on the cloth i was using.

here is the worst spot after some work. i am afraid i may be taking of the gold wash as well, but over all it is looking a bit better.

the blade goes i straight now, and i had a nice surprise, it seems that the spring was freed up after a few trips through the sonic bath

once getting to this point i just had to try it, and i have to say it is very comfortable, and easy to use. i was really surprised how heavy it is. it really is a solid chunk of metal. mine may not win any beauty contests, but for an ~80 year old razor it is really doing fine, and i am really happy that i now have it.
