I love this site because of the positive and encouraging comments! I immediately felt welcome and not afraid to ask questions. I'm also not worried about stating my thoughts or opinions here. I've found that shaving is a very YMMV hobby. There is no right or wrong equipment or technique. What one item feels great to one, feels doesn't to another. What technique works really well for one, doesn't for another.
My point is this; here I'm comfortable (encouraged even) to speak my mind, share my successes and failures or just bring up a topic. All without the worry if I'm going to get flamed or ridiculed. I know I'm going to get some great feedback. To me, this is the most important thing when starting a new hobby.
