"Bump Patol" home brew equivalent help.

Hello,

I use Bump Patrol toner/aftershave. I love it but would like to make a home brewed equivalent.
I use it after I shave my head, face and then apply scented aftershave. I use a lot of it and it is quite pricey.

I have made some home brew aftershave toner in the past with positive results. The typical formula would be witchazel, aloe vera, tea tree oil with a splash of fragrance. This worked well but did not have the burn, bite of the bump patrol.

I guess what I'm asking is can I add anything to this mixture such as some type of alcohol to give the burn/bite? If so what would you recommend and where could I purchase it.

Finally if anyone has made a home brew aftershave similar to Bump patrol would you mind sharing the recipe?
