These razors typically have a blade stop to help hold the blade in place. A lot of the time its touted as a safety feature, not just to prevent blade movement during a shave, but as protection from the corners of the blade nicking you.
My question is that, when using a "twin jector" blade with two blades in it, the top blade lacks the edge stops function of protecting the user from the corners of that blade. But I never see mention of the twin jector blades being dangerous due to that "flaw"
So IS the blade stop truly necessary for a single edge, or injector razor?
