No I just make sure I don't have any excess water inside the puck after I've finished shaving, just wipe the edge of the soap bowl and just place the lid on top that's all never waste good soap down the drain IF you're just face lathering.
Bowl lathering is a completely different story altogether.
Do you guys rinse out your puck after you shave?
