Well, it's happened again just like it's happened many times in the past. A few good friends of mine have roped me into another adventure, and this time it's the world of DE shaving!
I'm a new guy just starting out with DE razors, and it truly is a different animal from the Mach3 I've been using for dang near a decade. But my wife always tells me I need to learn how to slow down, relax, and enjoy life. What better way to do that than to enjoy a good shave, right? So I got an Edwin Jagger Kelvin, and snagged a few soap samples and a brush from WSP, who's literally walking distance from my house (pleasant surprise, that). My buddies and I are also trekking to Phoenix this Saturday to check out the Razor Emporium. The list of soaps I want to try is becoming impressively long, and the razor list is next! :)
Anyway, figured I'd say howdy and start finding my way around. I've only used the Kelvin three times, none of which were with a proper lather from a brush, so I'm hoping to try that tomorrow. I've got a lot to learn, but I'm happy to be here!
Checking in from sunny Chandler, AZ!
