About year ago I have bought three pieces of the RazoRock XXX for members of Polish wet shaving forum brzytwa.org. Unfortunately, net weight of just opened RazoRock XXX (Lot no. 9014) was only 80 g. I have even contacted Joe from Italian Barber, but he has told me density of the shaving cream is about 0,8 g/ml. Ok, but even if it's 0,8, net weight of product should be 100 g not 80. As we know, last version of the RazoRock XXX is manufactured by Tcheon Fung Sing. This time I have given up.
Last month I have bought two soaps/creams from Tcheon Fung Sing – Figaro Monsieur "Gold" (made for mimil76) and Tcheon Fung Sing Blue Jar. This time I have measured everything – capacity of the jar, volume, weight of the product and I've calculated density.
It was really interesting to see, that:
- in case of Figaro Gold, density was 0,74 g/ml, net weight was 102,4 g, volume was 135 ml (10 ml more that declared 125 ml)
- in case of TFS Blue Jar I have had only 76 g of the product, it's volume was 77,4 ml and density was 0,98 g/ml; declared volume was the same as in the case of Figaro Gold – 125 ml. 77,4 ml of 125 ml is only 62%!!!
TFS Blue Jar Shaving Cream is cheap product, but if I make decision to buy it, I need to know how much does it really cost. If seller says it is 10 USD for 125 ml, It should be this volume or more, otherwise it is fraud.
Once again – underweight is also problem of RazoRock XXX and other soaps manufactured by Tcheon Fung Sing.
As English is foreign language for me, please tell me, how can you call such a behavior of the manufacturer.
