I am looking for a slurry stone or something else that's adequat for creating slurry on a quartzite.
My quartzite is such a hard stone that it just ate my diamond card. After 15-20 uses the card just doesn't work anymore.
Is there anything more durable?
Once I have some slurry the stone is really great and very fast. I can use it right after the 1000 and without really deluting the slurry I go from there to the leather strope and that's it. HHT no problem at all. And a very sharp razor. Maybe not the mildest but not aggressive either. If it weren't for this "creating a slurry" problem.
