I recently purchased a de razor set which consisted of tobs avocado, Edwin Jagger DE89L, Omega 49 brush and various sample blades from tryablade. I've watched many videos before starting such as lathering, shaving with no pressure, mapping, etc. I started with the Derby's which I liked because they didn't feel as sharp on my sensitive skin. I was pleased with the results didn't have razor burn or any cuts. I then went and tried the astras sp and had a had the opposite of the Derby's shave. Had a couple nicks and razor burn.
I'm looking for help moving from blade to blade and would appreciate smoothness rankings of the list below as I gradually hone my technique. I know feathers are probably the sharpest of the batch while Derby's are the smoothest not sure what goes in between. I'm not only relying on the blade but will appreciate other feedback
