I have quite a lot of experience with tire pressure gauges, and pressure gauges in general. If you're looking for a typical 0 to roughly 60 PSI model, I would recommend the following gauges.
This is a very well known brand for tire gauges. It's made in Taiwan and it's very good quality. The gauge was recently redesigned to show half PSI increments, which I think makes it a bit worse than the older one. Nonetheless, it's still accurate, durable, and high quality. They can be bought for right around $39 or so.
Another nice one that's also made in Taiwan is this Autometer. It has a metal case and is very accurate and durable. Most of the components are machined and chrome plated. I know mechanics that have used this gauge for over 20 years and they are still accurate and going strong. These can be bought for right around 18 dollars.
Intercomp also makes a very nice 4 inch diameter gauge model. The hose is made in Canada and is very nice quality. The release valve is made in the USA by Intercomp. The gauge is probably made in China or some other low cost country, but it is very accurate and high quality. Note that it does not hold the pressure reading and the button is to bleed off air pressure. It does work very well.
I've also thought the old German brands were very high quality. This one has a plastic casing, but despite the cheap feel it has, it is still very accurate.
This is basically the same gauge but with a higher quality die-cast housing and a faux leather wallet case. It is also very accurate.
And finally, for a very high quality German gauge with a metal housing and guaranteed accuracy, this Flaig is really very nice and worth the money.
I have personally tested out all of these gauges myself and I've found that they are all very accurate, durable, long lasting and convenient. With the exception of the Flaig gauge, it's worth shopping around for a decent price. I'm pretty sure that Aerostich is the only easily findable seller of the Flaig in the United States. The QEEPH analog gauge is pretty low quality. The hose is poor quality and the gauge is made in China, which generally means a lower quality gauge. If you don't need the hose, the Autometer is a much better gauge for roughly the same price.
